EUIPO writes about the report, that “This is an initial report to investigate the type of risks that can be expected from the perspective of both IP infringement and the non-conformity to health and safety requirements. The report is a first step in order to increase awareness on the phenomenon of organised crime selling counterfeits that may be a danger to the health and safety of EU citizen”.
